Light Snow Showers Today

By · February 28, 2013 at 6:04 am

Light snow showers will transition to a wintry mix as the temp warms up into the afternoon.

We’re not expecting a lot of snow accumulation today, just a dusting is possible.  Temps are hovering close to freezing this morning, so use extra care.  A few slick spots could develop.

Today highs reach the upper 30s with scattered snow showers turning into a rain/snow mix into the afternoon.  Winds will gust out of the northwest up to 35mph, so a very breezy day is ahead.  Wind chills will likely be in the 20s most of the afternoon.

Tonight scattered snow showers are still possible with temps falling into the upper 20s.  Again, temps will be below freezing, so a few slippery spots are possible for your Friday morning commute.

Friday, flurries stay in the forecast with highs reaching the mid 30s.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry, but highs will only reach the low 30s with partly cloudy skies.

We’re closely watching late Monday into Tuesday we could see snow.
