Light Snow Possible Tonight

By · March 26, 2011 at 7:15 am

Highs today will reach the low 40s with increasing clouds.  A rain/snow mix is possible this evening, eventually transitioning to snow.  Up to 1″ of snow is possible in the metro, with 1-2″ of snow possible south of Bloomington and Greensburg.  Most of the snow looks to accumulate on grassy areas, with a few slick spots on roadways.  The snow looks to move out of the area by 7am Sunday morning.

Sunday, we start cold with temps in the mid 20s, but we’ll warm to the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies.

Monday looks dry with a high in the low 40s.

Tuesday and Wednesday, another chance of a rain/snow mix moves in.

The average temp this time of year is 55, we don’t hit that until Saturday, in the 7 day forecast.
