Less than 1/2″ of snow has fallen at the Indianapolis International Airport, and 1.7″ of snow has fallen in Alexandria… it’s just enough to make roads slick this morning.
Light snow showers will continue through midday with reduced visibility, and icy conditions. Temps will stay below freezing until noon, and wind gusts out of the northwest up to 30 mph will give us wind chills in the teens.
Tonight the clouds break and temps fall into the low 20s.
Thursday clouds will be on the increase as we top out in the mid 40s. Late Thursday, and into Thursday night scattered showers and a wintry mix is expected to develop.
We’re back in the 50s Friday, but each day of the 7 day forecast we’re looking for quick disturbances to move through and give us chances of precip. Because temps are so close to freezing overnight, we will be monitoring for the chance of a wintry mix.
