Latest on Winter Storm

By · December 16, 2010 at 4:52 am

Overnight, snow has fallen across Central Indiana and slick conditions are expected for our morning commute, ending by midday.  As of 5am just shy of 2″ of snow has fallen at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.  We’re getting reports of up to 4″ in Bloomington, and more than 3″ in Brown County, and up north, 1″ in Daleville.  Keep in mind we’re forecasting 2-5″ for most of Central Indiana.  The further south you go from Indy, the higher the totals will be.

Highs today will reach the mid to upper 20s with snow tapering off for the afternoon.  The Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning is set to expire at 1pm.

Overnight, we’ll see cloudy skies and temps in the upper teens.

Friday, a mix of sun and clouds returns with cold air sticking around for the weekend.

Another chance of snow moves in for Monday.
