Humidity & Storm Chances Return

Heat and humidity rule the forecast today as highs top out in the mid to upper 90s with a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with temps only dropping to the low 70s.

Saturday temps will once again hit the mid 90s, with the chance for isolated showers and storms developing as we head into the afternoon and evening.  It will feel like 100 to 107.  Some storms may be severe with damaging wind.  The storm threat will remain through Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The storms will be sparked by a cold front pushing through the state, so behind the storms will be temps in the 80s for Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday temps will reach the upper 80s, and we could see the 90s return by the middle of next week.
