The heat rolls on across Central Indiana!
Highs will reach the upper 80s today! The record high is 90 set back in 1977. Our normal high this time of year is around 74. Clouds will be on the increase today, and there’s a chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Plan on almost everyone staying dry! A Knozone Action Day has been declared for today.
Tonight, temps drop to the low 60s with showers and thunderstorms developing.
Monday, scattered showers and storms are possible as a cold front moves through the state. Not only will we see some much needed rain, but a cool down too. Highs will only reach the mid 70s.
Tuesday stays nice in the 70s, but by Wednesday we’re already back in the 80s. By the weekend, we could be tracking 90 degree temps. As of right now, no significant rain is in the forecast.
