There are a few flurries in our forecast tonight, but the bigger story is the cold. Temperatures will fall into the single digits and wind chills will be below zero through early Tuesday. Christmas Eve day will be cold, with highs only in the range of 17-22 degrees, but there will be some sun.
We are tracking a chance for light snow late Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day. It doesn’t look like enough for a white Christmas, as any accumulations will be less than an inch.
It will stay cold through Friday, but milder air arrives for the weekend. We have 40s in the forecast for Saturday. There is a chance for a wintry mix on Sunday and snow showers on Monday, followed by more cold air.
