Today will be the third day in a row we’ve topped out in the 90s, but once again, it will feel closer to 100 degrees.
We are waking up mild across Central Indiana with temps in the 70s:
Patchy fog is a problem for some areas:
Highs will reach the low 90s, and for all of Central Indiana feel closer to 100. An isolated shower or storm will be possible this afternoon, though most spots will stay dry. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the counties in red until 8pm Friday. Everyone needs to drink extra water, take it easy, and stay cool if you can.
Tonight temps only fall into the mid 70s, it will be partly cloudy and stay humid.
Friday some strong to severe storms are possible north of I-70 with temps again hitting the low 90s. Friday night into Saturday more showers and storms are likely, and Saturday, strong to severe storms are possible across Central Indiana. We’ll keep you posted on the updated timing as we get closer to the weekend.
In the 7 day, Sunday looks great with cooler temps and less humidity. More rain chances are coming our way next week.
