Heat Returns & Small Rain Chances Remain
ByIndy only hit 89 on Saturday, breaking our 17 consecutive days of 90+ temps. That makes it the fourth longest stretch in history!
However, another round of counting is set to begin.
Highs will likely reach the low 90s today with a 20% chance for a shower or storm. Most spots will remain dry.
Monday and Tuesday highs warm into the mid 90s, it will be humid as well with partly cloudy skies.
Our next best chance of rain arrives Wednesday, with a 30% chance for scattered showers and storms.
After the rain, temps cool to around 90 degrees, with dry weather ruling the forecast through Sunday.
An interesting fact, in 2004 we had no days of 90 degree heat, so far this year we’ve hit 90, 28 times. Last year we had a total of 37.
