The weekend won’t be a washout, but we will be watching for scattered showers and thunderstorms!
As we ease into the weekend, highs will reach the mid to upper 80s across Central Indiana Friday. Late afternoon/early evening there’s a 20% chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but isolated thunderstorms could turn severe with damaging wind, large hail, and very heavy rain.
Saturday and Sunday won’t be a washout, but you’ll need to keep the rain gear handy as highs hit the mid to upper 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this weekend. Severe weather is not expected at this time. Right now, it looks like the best chance for rain on Saturday will be in the afternoon/evening.
A few showers and storms may linger early Monday morning, but we’ll dry out as we head into the work week with temps in the low to mid 80s.
