The coolest morning of the week is on the way for Friday morning, with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
The weak weather system that triggered a few showers north of Indianapolis later Thursday is moving across the southern half of the state now. A couple of showers will be possible this evening south of Indianapolis. This weather system has a reinforcing shot of cooler air behind it.
After the cool start to Friday, expect a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will again be in the range of 75-80 degrees and again about 5-10 degrees cooler than average.
If you are ready for it to feel more like August, you get your wish this weekend. Highs will warm back into the lower and middle 80s. Higher heat and humidity are in the forecast for the weekend and early next week.
