Freeze Watch Tonight

By · April 22, 2012 at 5:22 am

Freezing temps are possible across Central Indiana tonight, that’s why a Freeze Watch is in effect.

Before we get to tonight, let’s go through today’s forecast!  Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s with a mix of sun and clouds.  A North breeze up to 20mph will make it feel cool, and there’s a 10% chance of sprinkles in West Central Indiana.  The average high this time of year is in the mid 60s, so we’ll be cooler than average!

Tonight, the clouds break to partly cloudy skies, and temps drop to the low to mid 30s.  Cover your sensitive plants before you go to bed.  A Freeze Watch is in effect for all of Central Indiana late tonight into Monday morning.

Monday, highs reach the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies and wind gusts out of the Northwest up to 30mph.

Tuesday remains breezy with an increase of clouds and highs in the mid 60s.

Our next chance of showers and storms arrives Wednesday as highs try to hit the 70 degree mark.

Cooler air is behind the rain chances for Thursday into next week.  A new system looks to develop late Saturday and Sunday, we’ll keep our eyes on it for you!
