A few flurries are possible through midday as highs eventually top out in the low 40s today.
Wind gusts up to 50mph will be likely, that’s why all of Central Indiana is under a wind advisory until 7pm. Even though we’re drying out from last night’s storms, flooding remains a concern, especially along area rivers. Flood warnings will likely remain in effect through the beginning of the weekend.
Thursday Indianapolis hit 61 degrees, we won’t see warmth like that in the 7 day forecast. In fact, we cool down below normal, and more chances of snow enter the forecast. Saturday night into Sunday we may see a dusting, but that’s still to be determined.
Much colder temps take over the forecast next week. Highs struggle to reach the low 20s with overnight lows in the teens.
