Heavy rain is on the way for Central Indiana this weekend, and flooding is a big concern. A Flood Watch has been issued for our communities south of I-70, however, everyone has the chance for impressive rain totals.
The Flood Watch goes into effect Friday night and expires Sunday. Two to four inches of rain is possible in the counties shaded in green.
Before the rain gets here, temps will be comfortable today with highs in the mid 40s and increasing clouds.
Tonight, temps stay steady, with rain developing after midnight.
Scattered showers are likely Friday, with heavy rain developing Saturday into Sunday. Areas along and north of I-70 could see 2-3″ of rain.
