First Day of Fall

By · September 23, 2011 at 10:36 am

Happy first day of Fall!  Temps will be cool today and for the weekend, and we can’t rule out the chance of rain.

Highs will hit the mid to upper 60s across Central Indiana today with a mix of sun and clouds.  There’s a 20% chance for an isolated shower, but, most spots should remain dry.  If you’re heading out for Operation Football, it will be cool, with temps in the 50s and a chance for a spotty shower.

Overnight, lows drop to the 40s, and a slight chance of rain sticks around.

Saturday and Sunday scattered showers are possible with highs in the mid 60s.  If you’re tailgating before the colts game, be prepared with the rain gear!

A slight warm up moves in next week, with dry days starting Wednesday.

Your sunrise shots are beautiful but there is a special effect in the sky before sunrise that is also interesting. Give us a shot of the sky then when unusual color and spectactical marking occurs because of the dust in the air. This has been reported by the weather bureau.

Let me know when you are going to show this.
