Fireworks Forecast & The Weekend Outlook

By · July 4, 2013 at 4:56 am

Scattered showers and thunderstorms can’t be ruled out today or tonight, but they look more likely east and southeast of Indianapolis.  We’ll be watching the forecast very closely as we head into the afternoon and evening.

Highs will top out in the upper 70s to around 80 with the chance of a shower or storm this afternoon.  The normal high this time of year is 85, and last 4th of July we hit 102!

The same applies for outdoor activities tonight including fireworks shows.

The 7 day remains filled with shower and storm chances with a big warm up for the middle of next week.

The weekend won’t be a washout, but just like we’ve seen for the last week or so, checking the radar before you head out will be necessary.

7 day
