We’ve made it! The light at the end of the tunnel, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, however you want to celebrate… cooler temps are settling into Central Indiana!
The streak of 90 degree days is over. We wrapped up the record setting heatwave with 23 consecutive days of 90+ temps. The previous record was 19 set back in 1936.
We will now start counting beautiful days! Highs today will reach the low to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies. The cooler, less humid weather settles in all the way through Friday! Late Friday into Saturday our next chance for rain rolls in.
Overnight lows will drop into the 60s, so your a/c units will get a break!
This is great back to school weather, perfect Indiana State Fair conditions… how will you enjoy the “cooler” temps?
The 7 day forecast looks great! And, I am so happy to not “say” 90 anywhere in it!
