Dry Weather Around the Corner

By · April 27, 2011 at 5:59 am

Highs today will hit the mid to upper 60s with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Rain is likely this morning, and will taper off as we head into the afternoon, with another wave moving in for late afternoon into the evening.  Some storms may be strong to severe, but we’re not looking at widespread severe weather.

A Flash Flood Watch is still in effect for Central Indiana until tonight.

Overnight winds gust up to 25mph with temps in the mid 40s and scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Thursday will be much cooler with scattered showers and temps in the 50s.

If you want sunshine… Friday is your day!  Highs will hit the mid to upper 60s with partly cloudy skies.

Saturday looks dry too, with a chance of scattered showers and t-storms Sunday.

Dry weather can’t come soon enough for me as I am a senior citizen and look forward to watching Wheel of Fortune. If the weather is dry maybe you wont cancel my program with weather alerts. Wouldn’t it be better to just run it at the bottom of the screen? Since I don’t live anywhere near Indianapolis I woulde likethat better.

Ruth… During Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy last night, tornado warnings were in effect for three Central Indiana counties. It is important to track these storms and the movement of them to keep people safe. The storm may not have been in your backyard, but when it is, we will do the same thing.
