Dry Conditions Take Over

By · June 13, 2014 at 12:00 pm

The cold front has now pushed off to the east and a gradual clearing is taking place from west to east.  The wind will be out of the north-northwest from 5 to 15 mph.  Cooler, drier air will replace the humid, warm air with afternoon highs only climbing into the low 70s, about 10 degrees below normal.

It will be mostly clear this evening, allowing temperatures to fall to near 50 degrees.

The weekend looks fantastic with sunny skies and dry conditions through a good part of the weekend.

Afternoon highs climb into the upper 70s and low 80s on Saturday.

Father’s Day will be warm with southerly breezes.  Temperatures will climb into the mid 80s.

A more active pattern arrives late Sunday night.  There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday night through Thursday, at this point.

More humid air arrives on Monday too with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s.

The summer like temperatures will continue through the work week.
