Dry… but Cold Weekend!By
Brr! Temps are in the teens this morning, with wind chills in the single digits. Freezing fog is possible, so please use care out on the roads, they may look dry, but could be a bit slick.
Today, highs reach the mid 20s with sunshine. Skies stay mainly clear tonight with lows dropping between 8-14 degrees.
Sunday, clouds will be on the increase with highs again only reaching the mid 20s. Our average temp this time of year is 39, so we are indeed running below average. Late Sunday night into Monday morning, there’s a slight chance for snow. We aren’t expecting much, just enough to slick up the roadways.
Our next best chance of accumulating snow moves in late Monday and sticks around through Tuesday. Right now… keep in mind this is preliminary, we could see 1-3″ of snow by Tuesday morning. This system taps into warm air, so we could see some freezing rain, and also, just plain rain. The forecast will probably be changing the closer we get to Monday, so check back for the latest.
Do you want a white Christmas? It looks like we could see snow Christmas Eve into Christmas Day… we’ll keep tracking this for you!
