A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Central Indiana until 9am. At times, visibility could fall below a 1/4 of a mile.
Highs will reach about 80 degrees today with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be humid this afternoon, with the chance for an isolated shower or storm.
Tonight an isolated shower is possible as temps fall to the low to mid 60s.
For the 4th of July, scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely develop as we head into the afternoon and evening. Temps will remain below our normal high of 85.
You may think the rain is a bit of a bummer, but remember last year’s drought? So far this month we’ve picked up an inch of rain. Since January 1st we’ve had 26.49″ of rain, that’s nearly 4.50″ above normal. At this time last year, we were running 11″ below what’s added up in the bucket so far this year.
