Rain showers have soaked Central Indiana most of the day, and now we’re looking forward to much colder temperatures tonight with lows dropping to the low 20s. A dusting of snow is possible on grassy areas tonight. Winds will gust up to 30 mph.
But, it looks like our white Christmas will come a day late. Well, kind of. Saturday highs will only reach about 30 degrees with scattered snow showers. Up to an inch snow accumulation is possible south of I-70, including Indianapolis. With areas north possibly picking up 1 inch of snow Saturday. Winds will gust up to 30 mph, so it’s going to feel quite chilly.
Sunday, highs only hit the upper 20s with another shot at light snow. Again, another inch is possible.
We’ll keep you posted here on the blog, and also, on the SkyTrak Weather Network.
