Get ready for some big changes this weekend! Today, we’ll be cool with highs in the 50s. It will be a cool, clear and dry evening for Operation Football with kick-off temps around 54. But look what’s heading our way for the weekend! 70s for highs.
The warmth will also come with wind. We’ll have southerly winds 10-20 with higher gusts tomorrow, then southwesterly winds 15-25 mph Sunday with higher gusts. But given that 10 of the last 12 days have been cooler than average, it will be nice to see some fall warmth.
Storms will threaten on Sunday and some could turn strong to severe. There’s a slight risk of severe Indy points south on Sunday, with the risk of large hail and high winds looking most likely Sunday afternoon into early evening at this point.
Rain totals could reach up to 1/2″ on Sunday with those scattered storms.
Back to work and back to school on Monday, we’ll be heading back to cool weather as well.
