The high temperature on Monday was only 72 degrees and it was the third day in a row cooler than average. The average high is near 75 degrees. With clear skies, it will be a cool start to Tuesday. Morning temperatures for most of central Indiana will be in the 40s. Sunny skies and mid-day temperatures in the 60s will give way to a warmer afternoon. Forecast highs are in the lower and middle 70s on Tuesday afternoon.
High temperatures will warm into the middle and upper 70s on Wednesday. A few clouds enter the picutre on Wednesday and there is a chance for a few showers across the southern half of the state. The bigger story this week will be the return of 80 degree warmth. That happens on Thursday and will last through the start of the weekend.
