Today will be our 10th consecutive day of 90 degree temps around Central Indiana.
We had 14 consecutive 90-degree days in 2007 and we’ll match that streak on Saturday. So far, this is also the driest July on record, with just .33″ of rain falling at the official rain gauge at the Indianapolis International Airport.
Highs today will reach the low 90s with mostly sunny skies and a breeze out of the Northwest.
Tonight, temps drop to the mid 60s with mostly clear skies.
Wednesday, the low 90s return, but so does the humidity. It will continue to build a little each and everyday though Friday.
Thursday and Friday look hot and humid with temps in the mid 90s. Our next best chance for rain moves in Friday.
Saturday and Sunday temps drop to the upper 80s, and there’s a 20% chance of a pop up shower or storm for the Brickyard 400.
