A winter storm warning remains in effect for much of central Indiana through midnight Saturday.  There is already 2″ of snow on the ground in Brazil in western Indiana and 1″ in Elwood Madison county and in Carmel in Hamilton county.  The roads are snow covered and snow continues to fall.  The heaviest snow is falling just south of Indianapolis.  There will be 2-4 inches of snow on the ground by sunrise near Indianapolis and surrounding cities.  There will be lighter amounts north and heavier south.  Snow totals are still forecast 4-7 inches near Indianapolis, 1-3 inches for Lafayette and Kokomo and 6-9 inches of snow south of Indianapolis.  There might be a city or too with more.  We will continue to keep you updated.
