Super Sunday

Cool, dry air is providing clear, sunny skies with comfortably cooler temperatures. Temperatures should top out in the upper 70s this afternoon which is below the norm of 84 degrees.  Saturday’s high temperature was 83 degrees.

Monday- Partly sunny with the warmest afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Saturday’s front returns from the south bringing a slight chance of light afternoon showers.  All forecast models suggest minimal rain totals of 1/10 inch, if any.

Expect clearing and drying mid day

Morning showers are ending behind a cold front that pushed southeasterly across central Indiana earlier. Expect clearing and drying mid day as winds shift north., high temp 80 degrees.

High pressure will provide dry weather Sunday through Tuesday.

Chances of showers and storms return Wednesday through Friday as occasional disturbances move through.

Better Days in the 7Day Forecast

Several disturbances will rotate across the area over the next several days creating a daily chance of showers and possible storms through midweek.  The pattern should change Thursday, behind a cold front which pulls in drier cooler air.

SUNDAY:  This afternoon should be warmer and brighter. Enough sunshine is expected today to warm temperatures into the 80s (about 10 degrees above Sat.).  Only isolated afternoon showers expected with light rain totals expected at about .10”.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and warmer with a better chance of showers and possible storms, mainly during warmer afternoon hours as a stronger impulse moves through. Rainfall totals expected at near ½ inch, high temperatures mid to upper 80s.

As high pressure to the south continues to rotate humid air up from the gulf, the chance for showers and Storms continues through midweek.  Today sill be soggier than most as we started our Saturday with rain. Wednesday night/Thursday morning, a cold front will usher in drier air from the north. High pressure building behind the front will provide drier conditions and more sunshine by the end of the work week.

Daily chance of showers/storms through midweek.  Today will be soggier than most as we’re starting our Saturday with rain.

As high pressure to the south continues to rotate humid air up from the gulf, the chance for showers and Storms continues each day (mainly afternoons) through midweek.  Wednesday night, a cold front will usher in drier air from the north. High pressure building behind the front will provide drier & cooler conditions by the end of the work week.

for showers and Storms with highs near 80 continues each afternoon through
midweek.  Wednesday night, a cold front
will usher in drier air from the north. High pressure building behind the front
will provide drier & cooler conditions by the end of the work week

Expect more of the same Cloudy, Cool weather with scattered Showers and Thunderstorms through at least Tuesday.

Scattered showers and T-storms continue to rotate around a weak low which will remain parked over Indiana and the Ohio valley for the next 3 or 4 days.  Due to the juicy air mass, the chance of showers and thunderstorms seems likely each day, especially during the warmer afternoon hours. By Wednesday, the unorganized area of low pressure will shift northwest toward Canada allowing gradual drying Thursday and Friday. Saturday, a chance of showers returns as remnants of this same disturbance shift eastward across the Great lakes.
