Ah, spring in Indiana: one day in the 80s, followed by strong storms and then a day of temperatures in the 40s.
Scattered showers will persist overnight with a low near 40 degrees. Friday will be a cool day with a high near 50 but things warm up quickly this weekend.
We go from the mid 50s Saturday to near 70 on Sunday and both days stay dry.
Storms continue tonight
Posted ByScattered storms are likely north of I-70 this evening and heavy rain is likely statewide after midnight. The severe thunderstorm watch has been extended until 3:00 am.
Expect a soggy commute for much of central Indiana tomorrow morning, and expect additional showers and storms to redevelop after noon. Temperatures will hover in the 60s before a cold front brings a return to colder than normal air Friday with highs in the 40s.

Our much needed warm-up is finally here. Highs will be near 50 to end the week and in the 50s over the holiday weekend.
Dry weather will prevail through late Saturday with temps in the 50s when rain will move in and stay through Sunday – along with a cold front.
Temperatures will fall Monday and rain may change to snow showers.
Just a reminder: another tornado siren drill will be held this evening, so don’t worry if you hear the sirens going off tonight! It’s just a drill. We are not expecting any severe weather tonight.
