Walking on Sunshine

Posted By · October 9, 2011 at 5:13 am

Our Central Indiana forecast continues to have us walking on sunshine as we close out the weekend!

Highs will reach the low 80s today with mostly sunny skies.  If you’re tailgating for the Colts game, prepare for plenty of sunshine and temps in the 60s and 70s.  At kickoff, the temp at Lucas Oil Stadium will be in the mid 70s.

Overnight, skies remain mostly clear as lows drop into the mid 50s in the metro.  Outside the metro, temps could drop as low as the upper 40s.  Patchy dense fog is possible by early Monday morning.

Monday, more of the same… sunny and near 80!

The chance in the forecast comes late Wednesday when scattered showers are possible across the state.  A cold front will push through bringing much cooler air Thursday, and a better chance of rain.

The average temp this time of year is 68, and we’ll be closer to that, the later we head into the week.
