Wind gusts up to 35 mph, drizzle, and temps struggling to hit 60… that’s your Friday forecast in a nutshell!
Much cooler air is settling into Central Indiana for the weekend. Scattered sprinkles are possible today, but the big story will be those wind gusts up to 35 mph.
Tonight, temps drop to the upper 30s. Winds will continue to gust up to 25mph.
Saturday begins our streak of dry weather… but highs will only reach the upper 50s… and the wind gusts up to 25mph are likely.
Sunday, the wind dies down and temps warm into the mid 60s.
By next week, we’re back in the 70s, and we look to stay dry through Friday.
Patchy fog and drizzle is possible this morning across Central Indiana, with a mix of sun and clouds developing by mid morning.
Highs will reach the mid 70s today with winds gusting up to 35mph. A potent cold front is set to cross the state later today, and strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and into the evening across Central Indiana. The biggest threat from any storm that turns severe will be strong damaging wind, however, an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. The most likely timing for storms will be from 3pm to 8pm. Check out the severe outlook map to see what areas of Central Indiana are under the gun for severe storms. Yellow means a slight risk for severe storms, green means thunderstorms are possible.
Overnight, an isolated shower is possible as temps drop to the upper 40s.
Friday looks very cool with highs only warming into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees. Wind gusts up to 35mph will make it feel much cooler. An isolated shower is still possible.
The weekend is cool… but nice and dry! Temps Saturday and Sunday morning may drop into the 30s outside the metro… so prepare for a cool start!

Wednesday, temps go up, and the rain chances go down, but we could still see a few isolated showers as highs hit the upper 60s.

One to two inches of rain is expected today and tonight, with some isolated areas picking up, up to three inches of rain.
Overnight, the heavy rain comes to an end, and temps drop to the mid 50s.
Monday, scattered showers are possible early, then we will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Monday evening more showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop. We could pick up an additional .30″ of rain.

Monday and Tuesday, off and on light showers are possible, with less than a quarter of an inch of rain expected.
Wednesday, the warm up begins, and we could hit close to 80 late next week!
