Like the 80s? I’ve got more of them in the forecast for you! Highs today will reach the mid to upper 80s across Central Indiana. Plenty of sunshine is expected, so if you’re spending time outside, don’t forget the sunscreen!
Overnight, temps drop to the mid 60s. There’s a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm early Friday morning… but anything that develops is expected to be short lived.
Friday, we crank up the heat. Highs will hit around 90 degrees with sunshine.
Saturday is downright hot! Temps are expected to reach the low 90s, and as we get into the afternoon isolated thunderstorms will be possible.
The chance for isolated storms sticks around Sunday afternoon as temps drop to the upper 80s.
Monday high temps warm into the upper 80s, with a chance for isolated showers and storms.
We’ll keep a close eye on your 4th of July forecast! Be safe!

The heat starts to build back in Thursday as highs hit the mid 80s. By the way, that’s around average for this time of year! There’s a slight chance for an isolated shower Thursday night… we’ll keep an eye on this!
Friday we should hit the low 90s with more humidity, and for the weekend there’s a 30% chance of pop up thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday as temps remain nice and warm.
Now, this is a forecast I can get used to!
First, let’s talk about why our severe weather didn’t materialize yesterday. First, the showers and thunderstorms that moved through Central Indiana yesterday morning took a little energy out of the atmosphere. Secondly, the lack of sunshine didn’t allow for the right dynamics to pop. Bottom line… clouds are our friend!
Now… onto the great news of today’s forecast. Highs today will reach the low 80s with sunshine!
Patchy fog will be possible overnight, but with lower humidity you can give your a/c a break as temps drop to around 60 degrees.
Tomorrow temps will once again reach the low 80s with sunshine!
Thursday highs climb in to the mid to upper 80s before Friday when we top out in the low 90s.
Our next chance for showers and storms moves in Saturday.
Highs today will reach the upper 80s with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some storms, especially this afternoon and this evening will be strong to severe. The entire state is under a slight risk for severe storms. Damaging wind, hail, isolated flooding will be possible. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
Overnight, thunderstorms, some severe, will continue. A cold front pushing through the state will trigger the thunderstorm activity.
Behind the front, much cooler and drier air for Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday looks dry with highs in the low 80s.
Another heatwave with temps in the 90s arrives later this week.
Our next chance of rain moves in Saturday.
Highs today will reach the upper 70s across Central Indiana. After round one of morning rain moves out, we will have dry time with the chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon. A few rays of sunshine will be possible, but as of right now, I’d say a mix of sun and clouds, with the clouds winning will rule the day.
Overnight, an isolated shower is possible, as temps only drop to the mid 60s.
Monday, the entire state of Indiana is under a slight risk for severe storms. Showers and thunderstorms will develop throughout your Monday. Some storms could possibly turn severe, with damaging wind, hail, and even isolated tornadoes a threat. Heavy rain and lightning is a threat from any thunderstorm.
The rain ends early Tuesday, and temps only hit the low 80s. This “cool down” sticks with us through Wednesday before more heat and humidity build by the end of the week.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected today with highs around 80 degrees. Today, looks to be the best day of the weekend!
Tonight after 11pm, scattered showers and thunderstorms move into the state from the West. Some storms will contain very heavy rain as overnight lows drop to the mid 60s.
Sunday, the storm threat sticks, especially in the morning. Some storms may be strong to severe with heavy rain that could lead to flooding, large hail, damaging wind and frequent lightning. I think the best time for rain will be before noon, then activity will become more scattered after that.
Severe storms will also be possible Monday as highs hit the upper 80s.
The 7 day forecast doesn’t look too bad if you like heat and humidity!
Highs today will only reach the low to mid 70s across Central Indiana. That’s about 10 degrees below average! Morning sprinkles/drizzle will gradually end, but the clouds will stick around. A mix of clouds and sunshine will be possible the later we head into the afternoon.
Tonight, the clouds break and temps drop to the upper 50s! It will be a night to give the a/c a break!
Saturday, our warm up begins. Get ready for sunshine and temps close to 80!
Sunday, highs hit the low 80s, but there’s a chance for thunderstorms. Some storms may be strong to severe. We’ll keep an eye on that.
If you want heat and humidity… you’ve got it… check out the temps for next week… close to 90!
Get ready for a mix of sun and clouds, and the chance of an isolated sprinkle today. Highs will be comfortable in the mid 70s with wind gusts up to 25mph.
Overnight, temps drop to the upper 50s, with the chance for a stray sprinkle.
Partly cloudy skies, including more sunshine, returns Friday, but temps only reach the low to mid 70s!
