Powerball Fever

What would you do with $250 million dollars?

Okay, so now is the time to dream.  Everyone is caught up with Powerball fever.  The jackpot is up to a quarter of a billion dollars.

I’ll admit, I rarely play the lottery.  However, this time is different.  It’s fun to get caught up in all the excitement, hold that ticket, and hope you could be that lucky one out of millions who hits the jackpot.  The chances of winning are slim, but they’re still there!

What would you do if you won that incredible jackpot?

I’d like to think I wouldn’t be selfish.  I would donate a portion of my winnings to non-profit organizations that are very close to my heart.  I would also help people that are close to me who are going through some hard times.  I’ve never been a big spender, but I’d go pay cash for a new Volvo 2 door hatchback, and a Mini Cooper, and pay off my house.  I am one of those people who saves and saves, and doesn’t make rash purchases.

I wish whoever wins the best of luck, and, I hope they pay the wealth forward.

I’m holding my ticket with my fingers crossed!

Storms Building

Today isn’t going to be a washout, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. Severe weather could be on the way Thursday.

Highs today will reach the mid 80s with a mix of sun and clouds.  Scattered showers and storms are possible, but we’ll see plenty of dry time too.  Tonight into tomorrow rain and storms will become more numerous.

As a cold front pushes though Central Indiana tomorrow, we could see severe storms.   Nearly the entire state is under a slight risk for severe weather Thursday.  We’ll be watching for heavy rain, damaging wind, and large hail.

For the weekend the humidity dies down, as do temps.  Highs Friday through Sunday look to hit the upper 70s.
