Matt Stover will make history Sunday as the oldest player to suit up for a Super Bowl.
Stover celebrated his 42nd birthday last week. He joined the team in mid-season to replace injured kicker Adam Vinatieri. The Colts stayed with Stover for the playoffs over Vinatieri.
Stover is not sure if this is his last game.
“I really just wanna kick great on Sunday. If something comes out of thatt after that, maybe we’ll consider it. But being 42,” he chuckled,”it wouldn’t be a bad way to go out, right? I could have done it last year too, but going to the AFC Championship game, but chose to keep my options open but as it turned out I think it turned out to be a good decision.”
